A crow from a photo reference. It started as an ink-only drawing, made with a (fake) Micron Pen. At a medium stage, i decided to add some blue watercolour, what showed to be more pleasant and effective. The feathers down the head produce beautiful textures.

With just a wooden stick and some black ink, the marks and lines one can make are very effective. Van Gogh knew it, and with these tools he made many of the amazing drawings of his last years.
